To date, 3 748 applications have been received from indigent households across the Overstrand of which 95 forms were incomplete with outstanding documentation and incorrect information.

The approved indigent applications total 3 358 with 295 new applications received during last week.

In an attempt to widen the scope for support to needy households, Overstrand Municipal officials will be available on the following Saturdays to help individuals to register for Indigent Subsidy from 09:00 – 12:00:
